The Evil Within is a horror film written and directed by Andrew Getty. It was originally titled The Storyteller, and tells the story of a special-needs boy who talks to his own reflection in a mirror, which becomes a demon of his dreams that tells him to commit murder. The film was a personal project of Getty, who largely self-financed the estimated cost of four to six million dollars of the production that took 15 years to complete.
