The show was renewed on April 15, 2016, and filming began on January 10, 2017.[3] The majority of the main cast from the second season; Frank Dillane, Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Cliff Curtis, Mercedes Mason and Colman Domingo will all return[4], whilst RubĂ©n Blades, who plays Daniel Salazar and last appeared in “Shiva”, is also confirmed to be returning.[5][6] Danay Garcia, who played Luciana Galvez throughout the second season, has been upgraded to the main cast.[4]
Fear the Walking Dead returns for a third season, as the survivors arrive at the U.S. border to escape the many dangers of a zombie-infested Mexico. The problem is that they’re going to have a very tough time getting back into the country. A vigilante patrol awaits them at the border, ready to stop anyone from coming back in.
The show’s already been picked up for a fourth, so this won’t be the end of the story, but it might certainly be the end for some of these characters. Showrunner Dave Erickson will also be stepping down after this season to focus on some other work for AMC.
Following a harrowing journey, the Clark family arrive at their new home. Strand faces resistance as he attempts to hold power over his domain.
