Review: 1. A mixed bag full of disappointment and maybe 2-3 redeemable moments but the director seems like a great dude who deserves a bigger budget if he decides to continue making horror films. Then again, my belief is that everyone deserves the biggest budget if the movie is horror.
2. Malicious uses ever haunted house/possession trope and cliche we’ve ever seen used in horror. For some reason the story arc of lost pregnancy is very popular in indie horror right now. Malicious is somewhat elevated by a great cast. Think Poltergeist, Amityville Horror, Sinister, Insidious,and The Possession all rolled into one. No need to see it, you already have.
